On Realwear HMT-1

Pre-Requisites

  1. Procure the shared drive link for App Installation from the Imaginate Support.
  2. Download the .apk file from the shared drive.
  3. You will need a windows PC with micro-USB cable and internet connection.

Installation

  1. Download the Realwear explorer.
  2. Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file.
  3. Run the extracted explorer installer and follow the installation steps to install the same.
  4. Launching the explorer, opens a screen as shown below. After the Realwear device is powered ON, it will show the contents of the Realwear screen.

  1. To install the Assist application, drag and drop the .apk file into the “Drop Zone” as shown below.

Additionally, you must ensure that the Realwear device and the computer that it is connected to are on the same Wi-Fi, if you want to use the ‘casting’ option effectively.

To connect to Wi-Fi, go to Settings >> Network & Internet >> <select network> >> <Enter password> >> Connect
